Motivation

I’m gonna start with the question;

What’s your motivation?

Why do you grind? Why do you want to make it so bad?

I think the answer to that question, that’s if you can answer it as true as possible to yourself;

That answer in itself is YOUR MOTIVATION, regardless of how much motivational speaking you listen to.

Me for example,

I started writing basically for the fun of it;

As someone that gets easily bored, I faded into a stop;

Deleted the whole platform I registered and just gave up;

Few days ago, A big brother hit me up, said ‘I wish I could write like you, I’d never stop’;

I didn’t believe him.

For that night, I was speechless.

I didn’t think I was anything close to what He said (I still don’t );

But that didn’t change the fact that someone believed in me and I let them down;

That was the night I found my motivation to write again.

Then I realized a lot of people do a lot a lot of things for the wrong reasons;

Hence, quitting early when they hit the smallest bricks.

I saw a movie (The hate you give) and someone said: a reason to live is also a reason to die; (original quote by Albert Camus)

okay, let’s not go far out, but you get the point.

No solid reason, No solid effort; I think;

I implore you my dear,

Question your motivation.

  1. Most times there’s really nothing left in you to motivate you tho….you more or less gotta find someone who sees your potential and is patient enough to push you. Most of the time it’s the fact that there’s a lot of people you’ll let down that pushes you
    My thoughts tho

  2. Nice one up there. Never let go of your mojo and if it slips, be diligent enough to seek it earnestly. My own motivation: scared of going back to the village 😁
